Born in Escondido, California, in 1976, Kirovski was a soccer player and Technical Director of the Los Angeles Galaxy in MLS (Major League Soccer), as well as the first American soccer player to win a Uefa Champions League. He won the MLS Championship as a player, collaborator and as Technical Director.

Jovan Kirovski, in 1992, was selected to play for the youth team of Manchester United where he remained until 1996. The following year, he signed for Borussia Dortmund moving to the Bundesliga for four seasons. In Germany, with Dortmund he won the Champions League in the 1996-97 season. In the 1998-99 season he moved on loan to Fortuna Köln. In 2000 he moved to Sporting CP, in Portugal; after a season he returned to England to Crystal Palace. In the United Kingdom he also played for Birmingham City, an experience after which he returned to the United States, signing for the Los Angeles Galaxy. In MLS, Jovan Kirovski had several experiences before returning to Los Angeles, where with the Galaxy in 2011 he won the MLS Cup.

Kirovski retired from playing in January 2012, but remained on the LA Galaxy coaching staff as an assistant coach. The following year, he was named Technical Director of the Club, where Zlatan Ibrahimović also moved in March 2018. For the Los Angeles Galaxy, Jovan Kirovski has followed every aspect of the Club, contributing to the development of talent within the Academy, through the Second Team to the First Team. International career Kirovski made his debut with the USA National Team at the age of 18, on October 19, 1994, in the match against Saudi Arabia. He also participated in the 1996 Olympic Games and in the 1999 and 2003 editions of the Fifa Confederations Cup.
