Juve strengthens its defense with the young Rocchetti

One of the leaders of Benesperi’s team, he was called up on numerous occasions also by coach Battisti, wearing (among other things) the captain’s armband

The path of the Juventus in the Under 15 championship can be defined as positive. Despite the team of Well-being failed to match the semi-final reached by the 2008s in the previous season, the Bianconeri must still be given credit for having given their all, both during the regular season and in the final phase. Worth mentioning, above all, are the quarter-finals against Roma, in which they came very close to eliminating the future champions of Italy, with that victory in the return leg unfortunately useless for the purposes of qualification.

Among the most interesting elements of the whole squad there is certainly Edward Rocchettia true defensive leader. There is one fact, above all, that highlights his importance in the Under 15 team: Rocchetti was the player most used by Benesperi throughout the season. The Juventus centre-back collected 2088 minutes, just above Elimoghale (2056), while with the following Bruno, Basile and Carfora there is a clear gap between 250 and 500 minutes. In addition to his fundamental contribution to the Old Lady’s defence, where he is always precise and punctual in his interventions, it is also worth mentioning his contribution in the goal area, as demonstrated by the three goals scored this year.

Also a key element of theItaly Under 15 coach Battisti, who called him up for almost all of last season’s matches, also wearing the captain’s armband in the matches against Spain, South Korea, Romania and Macedonia. A further sign of how this defender has now become an absolute certainty, as well as a decidedly interesting profile for the coming years.
