Roma and Lazio, two questions for the next Serie A:
“It’s a time of study in which we have to understand what type of market to do. There is still uncertainty, even on departures, but that’s normal. There’s still time and I believe that at the right time Roma, like Lazio and the others, will move”.
Interest in De Rossi working since the beginning of the season:
“Roma made an important choice last year, a well-known guy and I think it was the best choice after Mourinho, he knows Trigoria like the back of his hand, I think Roma couldn’t have chosen a better man. I think he has all the skills to become a great coach, already as a player he was very professional, never out of line. A very sincere person, who doesn’t hold back on self-criticism. I think he can really help the club in its completion. The Friedkins are very quiet and I like that, because they operate in silence. I’m confident”.
How do you see Baroni? What to expect?
“I think it came at the right time, it’s a good opportunity to show off. He’s a coach who has always worked in difficult conditions and can do really well. He can have a great season, he knows how to work with young players. I think he’s the right man for a restart.”
What does Roma need on the market?
“Chiesa would be a great signing, if he’s well he wins matches. After the injury he had difficult periods but that’s okay. He remains an important player and could be an important target for the Giallorossi. I think De Rossi is asking for guarantees to have players with whom he can face the championship in the best possible way. Together with the club they will come up with important ideas”.
