The presentation ceremony of the new Serie A Enilive 2024/2025 took place today at 12:00 with the draw of the calendar of the next championship with the first and second round asymmetric. These are the statements of the Head of the Technical Area, of Lecce, Pantaleo Corvinoreleased to the club’s official channels: “Atalanta winner of the Europa League and Inter Champion of Italy. Uphill start, it couldn’t have happened more difficult than this. But it will also be a very, very stimulating start to the championship because we will play the first match at the Via del Mare in front of our many fans. We will have to work overtime to be as ready as possible”.
As happened last year, Lecce will start their journey at the Via del Mare and will close the season away from home. Their first opponent will be Atalanta (18/08), while on the last day (scheduled for Sunday 25 May 2025) the Giallorossi will be guests of Lazio at the Olimpico. The return round will open with two consecutive away matches in Empoli and Cagliari. Lecce will face only one of the three newly promoted teams at the Via del Mare in the first round (Parma in 5th), while Venezia and Como will arrive at the Via del Mare in 12th and 14th place respectively. During the season, four breaks are scheduled for national matches, three of which in the first round and one in the return round (8/09 – 13/10 – 17/11 – 23/03). Only one midweek round will be scheduled for the 10th round of the first leg (30/10) with the Giallorossi facing Hellas Verona at the Via del Mare.
