Roma, contacts for Sorloth: Giallorossi still far from Villarreal’s requests

Updates from Spain on the possible reinforcement for Roma’s number nine position. The Giallorossi, reports Relevo, are looking at Villarreal and its Norwegian striker Alexander Sorloth (28 years).

The 1995-born striker had already been linked to the Giallorossi in recent weeks (and with them also to another Italian team, Fiorentina) but it seems that now in Rome they have decided that the time has come to move from words to deeds.

According to what is reported by the portal I’m raisingin fact, in the last few hours there have been some official contacts between the two companies to be recorded, even if Roma has not yet come close enough to the requests put forward by Villarreal. The Yellow Submarine has opened up for the first time to a transfer even without the full payment of the clause (set at 38 million euros), but for a figure that is still close (at least 35 million). Again Roma, who wanted to understand any availability to include counterparts or alternative methods to further ‘lighten’ the cost, has not come close enough.
