Benfica has made an important move for its midfield. It is about Leandro Barreiroa 2000-born player from the Luxembourg national team who did not renew his contract and was released by Mainz on June 30.
Barreiro had long since reached an agreement with the Lisbon club – coached by the German Roger Schmidt, who knows him very well – and was only waiting for the signature, which arrived in the last few hours. He signed an agreement until June 30, 2029.
