With two posts on the club’s official social channels, Roma said goodbye to Rui Patricio and Leonardo Spinazzola, whose contract expired two days ago. Yesterday, the two players had already said goodbye to the yellow and red colours. Rui Patricio: “A special thought and a big hug to all the fans who supported me on this unforgettable journey! My trip to Rome ends like this, taking with me many professional and personal memories. I wish you all the best, and I hope you continue to win many other competitions with the same passion and determination that has distinguished us until now! Again and Always Forza Roma”.
Spinazzola said: “We rejoiced and we cried, we celebrated and we suffered, together. Together we touched the sky in Tirana, together we got up from nights like the one in Budapest. Every time I stepped onto the field, I fought and sweated with all my strength for these colors. Rome will always remain in my heart.”
