Parma, back on the pitch tomorrow. Man’s renewal ready, reinforcements expected in every department

After a well-deserved rest, Parma is ready to get back to work in preparation for next season. More than two months have passed since that first of May, when Pecchia’s team achieved the promotion goal in Bari. Celebrations and holidays are over, and tomorrow they’ll be back on the pitch. Between yesterday and today, the team will take the usual physical tests and tomorrow they’ll be back on the pitch at the Mutti Training Center in Collecchio, where the entire summer preparation will take place. Pecchia won’t have the entire group available: Bonny, Balogh and Circati are absent, who will have a few more days of vacation after their commitments with the national teams, as well as Man, Mihaila and Osorio, busy with the European Championship and the Copa America. There won’t be any new faces, with the exception of Valeri, who arrived on a free transfer after his experience at Frosinone. The left back will start to get to know his teammates and work on Pecchia’s first tactical dictates. It will enter a well-established mechanism, given that for now the group that won Serie B has been almost entirely confirmed.

Man renewal ready: a heavy and significant operation. Now on with the others
This is also thanks to careful work on contract renewals, the real hot front in these weeks of pre-season. Today or in the next few days, the long-awaited renewal of Dennis Man could arrive. After a long and complicated negotiation, Parma managed to meet the demands of agent Becali, thus managing, barring any surprises, to secure the best Crociati scorer of last season’s Serie B. An operation that would outline even more clearly what the club’s philosophy is, at least for this summer market. As reiterated several times, in fact, the objective is to maintain the backbone of the current squad. The strong belief is that the many young players still have ample room for improvement and can demonstrate it in Serie A as well. As evidence of this, they have already renewed Bernabé, Mihaila and Benedyczak, just to name a few. But it doesn’t end there: in addition to Man, there are still 10 players whose contracts expire in June 2025 and for this reason the club continues to work insistently on this front, adapting the contracts to Serie A and also studying some exits.

Incoming transfer market: stalemate, decisive moves being studied
In addition to Parma’s pre-season, the transfer market has also officially begun these days. In recent weeks, many names have been linked to the ducal club. At the moment, however, very few negotiations seem to be well underway. Parma is closely following several players, but for now it is waiting to land the decisive blow. However, we can hypothesize the areas of the pitch where reinforcements will arrive. A new goalkeeper will certainly arrive: Parma had identified Perin as an ideal profile, also thanks to his excellent knowledge of the championship and great leadership. With Szczesny’s imminent departure, in the end he remained in Turin and the club found itself having to veer towards other objectives, looking both in Italy and abroad: the latest name is that of Suzuki, goalkeeper of Sint-Truiden. Another position where Parma will invest is that of central defender: a high-level defender will certainly arrive, capable of taking over the starting role right away. It might not be the only reinforcement in the back line, given that, in the event of transfers, the management could intervene to complete the defensive package. The same goes for midfield: Parma wants a midfielder, but is first trying to understand who will leave among the midfielders currently in the squad. Something is also moving in the three-quarter line, where the most popular names are Cambiaghi (even if at the moment it seems like a complicated operation) and Gaetano. Finally, the fans are waiting for a striker: Pederzoli spoke about it to our microphones, reiterating his intention to trust Bonny. The Frenchman will have his chances to show he is ready, but, despite this, something up front will move.
