Fiorentina need to insert some pieces into their midfield and are following Antonio Blancoof Alaves. A Real Madrid alumnus, he moved to the white and blues two years ago, first finding promotion to LaLiga, then completing his first season as a starter in the top flight of the Spanish championship, appearing on the field thirty-three times. Alaves achieved a comfortable salvation, with 46 points in 38 games and without ever risking relegation to the Segunda Division.

Debut with Real Madrid in 2021with four league appearances, also starting against Cadiz in a 3-0 win. A year later he marked his career with his first Champions League appearance, six minutes. He was loaned to Cadiz two seasons ago, but without finding much continuity, before choosing Alaves.

A year ago, the midfielder played a top-level European Under-21 Championship, dragging Spain along with his goals. Valued at around €10 million, coach Raffaele Palladino likes him a lot. He would effectively replace Arthur, who returned to Juventus, in the squad. Bonaventura, Duncan and Castrovilli are also leaving, having left the club on a free transfer on June 30th when their contracts expired.
