TMW Radio

In the afternoon appointment of All CProgram of TMW Radio dedicated to Serie C, intervened the General Manager of Cavese Clemente Filippiwho took stock of the situation after the return of the Campanians among professionals: “The D championship was one in which we were very consistent, and the standings showed it, as we finished +16 from second place. There were some small moments of decline at the beginning, but only because of the revolution of the squad and the new coach on the bench. Serie D is the most difficult championship, because apart from the first, no one is promoted, but the environment was good at overcoming the pitfalls, so much so that it led the team to win with four days to spare.

You will be in Group C. What do you think of Juventus Next Gen in your group?
“It’s a complete novelty for Group C, we will prepare to face it. It will be an interesting experience, because Juventus Next Gen is a veteran of the category, with different resources behind it compared to the other C clubs”.

What are the assumptions with Di Napoli after his confirmation on the bench?
“As sports management, together with the president, we decided to confirm Logiudice and the coach, giving continuity to the project. Di Napoli had arrived at a complicated moment, but there was also an exploit with him and now there is the belief that we can do a good Serie C, knowing however that we will have to change our mental attitude further to settle in this category after three years of battles in Serie D”.

What should we expect from the up-and-coming newly promoted teams in Group C?
“I speak for Cavese: we need to consolidate and take steps to settle down. The main objective is to stay up with as little worry as possible, but now is the time to lay the foundations.”

How is your relationship with the territory?
“First of all, our stadium has passed the structural parameters with flying colors. In the area, in the last two years, we have tried to restore the sense of belonging, also by holding meetings with the schools of the city and involving various soccer schools. We try to lend a hand to these realities, starting from the idea that backyard soccer is over. And that with the fees of many soccer schools this sport is becoming an elite sport. The Federation could allocate incentives for less well-off families to give all children the opportunity to play soccer. Then we need youth coaches who truly educate, and in this sense we have many requests for affiliation”.
