In the meantime, however, the German midfielder has sent a message short but heartfelt to the fans of Real Madrid, on the occasion of his farewell as a player of the blancos: “Today is officially my last day as a Real Madrid player. It’s strange, but I will always be one of you. Always grateful,” Kroos wrote in his own hand.
There has been no shortage of celebratory messages for the 34-year-old former Bayern Munich champion. Among the many to be highlighted is his teammate at Real Madrid and the national team, Antonio Rudigerengaged with Kroos at the European Championships: “Legend”. The same message was taken up by dozens of fans of the merengues who showed their affection to the legendary midfielder.
