Gregucci: “Serie C, 60 teams too many. I don’t understand the playoff formula”

Interviewed by Vicenza newspapercoach Angelo Greeks who was on the bench of the Venetians between 2006 and 2009, commented on the season of the red and whites: “This year, good luck has not looked on the side of the red and whites, when Ronaldo got injured in the 4th minute, the backbone of the team that had already lost Ferrari and Golemic completely fell apart”.

The problem is upstream, 60 teams are too many, it was better when there were C1 and C2”.

A joke then also on the future of Vicenza. According to Gregucci, the team of Old at the starting line of next year he will still start among the favorites: “In Serie C there are no indispensable players, but I would bet on Matteo Della Morte and Talarico, because I always support the youth team products. The groups? Vicenza is the favorite by default, there is little to go around, but this does not mean that they will have an easy road”.
