Venezia today announced the purchase of Issa Doumbia from AlbinoLeffe. He is an Italian midfielder, born in 2003, with great experience in Serie C despite his young age. The player also released his first words as an orangeroverde to Venezia’s official channels: “I am very happy to have arrived at Venezia and I can’t wait to start this new adventure. I will always try to give my best and I hope to be able to play a good championship, thanks also to the support of the Forza Venezia fans.”

Raised in the Albinoleffe youth system, Doumbia, 20 years old, made his first team debut in 2021, concluding his first season among the professionals with 12 appearances and 1 goal. Despite his young age, the 2003-born player has collected 82 appearances with the Lombard team, 4 goals and 5 assists between Serie C and Coppa Italia Serie C”.
