Below is the official press release: “AS Monaco is pleased to announce the arrival of Boubakar Dembaga, an 18-year-old defensive midfielder. Originally from Aulnay-sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis), Boubakar Dembaga, who celebrated his 18th birthday last June 7, he arrived at Rouge & Blanc from Paris FC.
The defensive midfielder played with the Ile-de-France club in the U17 and U19 categories after having learned the ropes at CSL Aulnay and then at Espérance Aulnaysienne, in addition to futsal. Boubakar Dembaga is coming off a full 2023-2024 season with Paris FC. The 1’91 midfielder has played more than twenty games (5 goals) as a starter, both in the U19 National Championship and in the Gambardella Cup.
