Di Cesare gets the keys to the city of Bari: “This is home. I will do everything to make a dream come true”

Today’s day has great symbolic value for Valerio Di Cesareformer captain of the Bari and for a few weeks a new member of the red and white management. The outgoing mayor Antonio Decaro has in fact handed over to the flag of Galletti the keys to the city.

I have lived here with my family for eight years, I have been through all sorts of things and I have also grown as a man. I have stopped playing, but in any capacity I will put Bari ahead of everyone, I hope to give this city that dream that everyone deserves, together with my family we get along very well, we have fallen in love with it I thank everyone, for me this is a great honor.”

Di Cesare then talks about the club’s future ambitions: “We need to start again, especially from what didn’t go well. I feel like saying that this year we will do things right, because this city deserves to go to Serie A”
