The Cameroon Football Federation has confirmed a tragic news that had spread in the last few hours: the former midfielder Landry N’Guemo he died in a car accident at the age of 38.
The former Nancy, Celtic, Bordeaux, Saint-Etienne, Akhisarspor and Kayserispor player had worn the Indomitable Lions shirt 39 times, scoring 3 goals. In addition to N’Guemo, Cameroon also mourns another important figure, Samson Che, who died due to illness.
This is the statement: “The Cameroon Football Federation is saddened by the news of the deaths of Landry Nguemo Tsafack and Samson Che. Nguemo left his mark on our football and played a large number of matches with prestigious European clubs. He played from 2006 to 2014 the national team jersey, also participating in an African Cup and two World Cups.
