Oscar Damianihistoric prosecutor of Lilian Thuramin an interview with Allsports spoke about his son Khephren and his imminent move to Juventus: “Khephren doesn’t have the physicality of his brother, but he is more elegant. However, compared to the times when I held him in my arms, I can confirm that he has grown quite a bit: he is very tall and knows how to impose himself on the pitch, even if he has a more agile structure than Marcus”.
Damiani, one year after Marcus and twenty-eight after Lilian, how would you see Khephren’s arrival in Italy too?
“Very good, honestly. A player who matures in the French league, much more physical than the Italian one, when he arrives in Serie A can complete his growth, also improving from a tactical point of view. And guaranteeing added value to the club he arrives at, as a result”.
By the way, in which role do you think you perform best?
“Probably as a classic mezzala, with permission to insert himself, in a three-man midfield. He is an all-round player, a “box to box” midfielder, as they say. Let’s say that he is not suited to playing as a winger or even as a playmaker: apart from that, in reality, he can play without any problems in the middle of any formation”.
