Through its social channels the Rimini presented the new logo. This is the official press release:
“Preparing for the start of the next season, we felt the need to write new pages of our history. The choice of the new logo certifies this passage: it was necessary to sublimate the desire for the future that we are building one step at a time.
Today we are no longer so far away. Not anymore.
Projects that are decisive for our path give us a look beyond the present, we are imagining tomorrow, starting from the sports center, to continue with the dream of a new stadium that we continue to find even the following morning.
We have therefore decided to go beyond the Roman origins, to Ariminum, to the Tiberius Bridge and the Arch of Augustus present in the old shield, always pursuing ourselves towards a tomorrow founded on our history.
We let ourselves be accompanied by our supporters, finding the future in the scarves and banners of the fans. We have called one of our leaders to reorganize the new challenges using pride and belonging which, associated with love, become something powerful that will guide us riding the spirit of our time.
Here is the choice of a story that lives in Rimini, an anachronistically contemporary choice. The shield enhances the identity of Rimini FC that has always been recognized in the iconic red and white chessboard. In the center it features the symbol SI of Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta, a bold leader who left indelible marks such as the Castle and the Malatesta Temple but also SI as the union of Sigismondo and Isotta and the love that made them stronger together. A story that is us, a singularity ready to fight with pride but also with the love for its colors like the one that against everything and everyone Sigismondo wrote in history for his Isotta.
The desire to fight, the love for our colors, the certainty that we will be side by side with our people, make us feel the smell and taste of the effort that will be needed in this journey but also the wonder and rapture of a future that we can’t wait to live and love.
