Ivan Ramiro Cordoba bids farewell to Venezia. After more than three years as a manager (and partner) of the lagoon club – he joined in February 2021 – the former Colombian defender of Inter announced on his social media that he is about to leave the Venetians.
Here’s what Cordoba himself wrote on his social profiles: “I would like to express my sincere thanks to President Duncan Niederauer for the trust he placed in me three years ago, in the winter of 2021, allowing me to join the Board of a prestigious club like Venezia.”
Cordoba continues and concludes: “It was a beautiful period, of great personal growth, during which we went through more and less beautiful moments. However, I leave with the joy of having achieved a great result such as promotion to Serie A and having reached the final with the Primavera team. I renew my thanks to the President, the team, the technical staff and the entire club. I also thank the Mayor and all the institutions that have supported us on this journey and, of course, the magnificent fans who have always been at our side. Always and in any case, go Venice! With love, Iván Ramiro Córdoba”.
