Girona continues to strengthen in view of a season that will see it involved not only in the league and Copa del Rey, but also in the Champions League. The Catalan club announced the arrival of Abel Ruiz Ortega: the Spanish striker leaves Braga, who receives 9 million for his contract, and signs until 30 June 2029.
Born in 2000, Ruiz grew up in the youth teams of Valencia and Barcelona. In Portugal, however, he found his dimension: purchased in 2020, he played 189 games with Braga, scoring 38 goals and 19 assists.
