New addition to the Juventus goal: Alessia Capelletti arrives from Parma

New goalkeeper for Juventus Women: the Juventus club has in fact announced on its website the arrival of Capelletti from Parma who will play with Roberta Aprile the role of second behind the Frenchwoman Pauline Peyraud-Magnin unless one of the two is sold during the summer. Below is the press release:

Alessia Capelletti she is a new player for Juventus Women.

Goalkeeper, born in Cremona in 1998, arrives in black and white from Parma – at the end of a season which saw the Emilian team finish third in the standings in the Women’s Serie B – and signs a contract until 30 June 2026.

Before moving to Parma (two years ago), born by acquiring the Empoli sporting title in the summer of 2022, Alessia played two seasons in the Tuscan club. Two, just like the ones spent in Emilia-Romagna. Years, those among the ranks of the ducal club, in which the class of ’98 was relegated to Serie B, despite a positive season on an individual level, and subsequently – in the one that has just ended – tried to obtain promotion immediately, but without succeeding.

In recent years, however, there has been no lack of personal satisfaction for her: in 2022 she was the goalkeeper who made the most saves in the calendar year in the top flight, ahead of Laura Giuliani (Milan) and Sara Cetinja (at the time at Pomigliano , but currently at Inter). As evidence of her value, again in 2022, Alessia was awarded by the Apport (Italian Association of Goalkeeper Coaches) as the best Under 23 extreme defender of the 2021/2022 season.

Now, waiting for you, this new adventure in black and white, highly stimulating, with the aim of continuing to improve every day.”
