Luciano Spalletti, Italy’s technical commissionerduring the introductory press conference for tomorrow’s in-or-out match against Croatia to get through to the Euro 2024 group, spoke about the quality and technique at his disposal and the necessary leap in quality, as well as indicating how to find it.
Spalletti said: “But I don’t ask for anything, I liked this group when I imagined it, I believed I could do some excellent things and, while we did some analysis with the team on our path, we understood that there would be we need a few more steps to do what we said we don’t have this time and therefore we need to take the shortcut, be ready, because these are the matches that make your story big or small.”
