Juventus, Douglas Luiz what a blow. Koopmeiners and Khéphren Thuram are also working on the midfield. The Hermoso hypothesis remains alive for Naples’ defense. Lukaku leaves Osimhen. Like Spinazzola

Juventus’ great coup is called Douglas Luiz. The Giuntoli era began with a market operation of the highest quality level. Now only details are missing for a deal set up with many difficulties (primarily Mckennie’s failure to approve the transfer to Aston Villa which slowed everything down). The Brazilian midfielder will arrive in Juventus for a total sum of 50 million euros. A negotiation that ended with the inclusion of two technical counterparts such as Iling Junior and Barrenechea plus 22 million euros plus bonuses, some more easily reachable, others less and with percentages on future resale. In short, Douglas Luiz is a very important acquisition (the player will already undergo medical visits in the United States at the beginning of the week where he is currently involved with his national team in the America’s Cup) for a department in which there will certainly be at least one more insertion. It’s clear that the second big target now is Koopmeiners. Atalanta’s request is always very high, a figure above 50 million. To try to get it requires a significant economic effort. The only way to lower the cost would be to insert a technical compensation. So Juventus is also evaluating other alternatives. One of these is certainly Khéphren Thuram, currently playing for Nice, whose contract expires in June 2025. Of course, even in this case the valuation is high but certainly lower than that of Koop, around 18 million euros. The Bianconeri are ready to seize the opportunity should there be room to start a concrete negotiation. Bearing in mind that Juventus is also trying to understand if there are possibilities for the renewal of
Rabiot. The next few days could be decisive in this sense.
Napoli is also in great movement.

The spotlight is on the defense where the first purchase has already been made. Rafa Marin will certainly be able to lend a hand in a sector where the Azzurri continue to work in a concrete way. The first name on the list remains Buongiorno, even if as already mentioned Torino wants at least 45 million euros. And on this basis it is not easy to get to grips with the situation. Napoli, however, doesn’t give up and continues to keep the floor hot. Another name to always keep in mind is that of Hermoso, who will be released on a free transfer from Atletico Madrid on 30 June. Napoli are also making their reflections in other areas of the pitch. As regards the attack, there is currently no news on the Osimhen front. For now, however, there has been a lot of interest without significant progress. Arsenal seemed ready to give it a try but at present they are also thinking about other solutions. One of these is represented by Gyokeres of Sporting Lisbon. In the event of the Nigerian’s departure, the Lukaku option would become the one with the most chance. Conte has always been a great admirer of him. And for this reason Romelu would represent a very first choice. Napoli are also looking for a winger and among the options is Spinazzola, who at this point, barring any surprises, will leave Roma. There should be new contacts already this week.
