Juventus, thawing tests with Bologna: Kean at Bologna unravels the Calafiori knot

There Juventus it never stops. Cristiano Giuntoli, Juventus’ technical director, has specific market objectives to achieve and he certainly falls among them Riccardo Calafiori. The defender born in 2002 has amazed everyone in the championship with his performances and flexibility on the pitch under the wings of master Thiago Motta, while he is now looking for confirmation at high levels in the national team and at the European Championships in Germany.

In the meantime, Turin is working to reconcile the requests of Bologna (owner of the card) with its own needs and, according to Tuttosportthe solution could be Moise Kean. The striker born in 2000 who grew up in Vinovo is one of the names pursued by the rossoblù management and appreciated by the new coach Vincenzo Italiano: on the other hand the player would like the destination for the imminent participation in the Champions League.

L’interlocking Calafiori-Juve and Kean-Bologna certainly need to be worked on, it is – we read in the newspaper – a complex operation for the hiring and amortization of the Juventus striker, but the expression of interest has arrived. After the Motta case the thaw operation has startedbut the deal remains complicated: Basel holds 50% of the resale of the blue centre-back, value of the counterparts included. For this reason Giuntoli is trying to insert a young player between Nicolussi Caviglia, Barbieri and Facundo Gonzalez to lower the cost.
