Volodymyr Brazhko, midfielder of Dynamo Kiev and the Ukrainian national team, spoke at a press conference ahead of tomorrow’s match against Slovakia. After the debut defeat against Romania, coach Rebrov’s team cannot afford any more missteps. These are his statements: “I made my debut for the national team about three months ago and for me it was something indescribable. Playing at the European Championships and then the highest level in football: I had dreamed of it for a long time; it was a long road for me to get here, so I enjoy every moment, and I want to help the team as much as possible.
We must be aware that the Slovaks have a well-organised team and know what to do on the pitch. They are good at pressing and defending in a very compact way. Furthermore, they are good on the counterattack. They play really good football, they don’t just kick the ball. It will be difficult for us and it will certainly be an interesting match.”
