From the Argentina Under 23 retreat, the Bologna striker Santiago Castro spoke to DSports Radio FM 103.1 of his arrival in Italy: “I adapted quickly. In Italy we always play short, the Bolognese are impressive. I would never have imagined this, it’s a dream come true. Having scored against Juventus, Roma, is a dream.”
On National colleagues: “We are competing, but they are great people and I love them very much. I always wish them the best because if they do well, the group does too. It’s nice to find ourselves here in the national team, we share a lot”
On the Olympics: “I haven’t talked to Bologna yet about permission for the Olympics. There is a new coach, a pre-season and three matches. We need to talk about it,” Castro said.
More on Argentina Under 23: “It’s a very nice group, just look at the names. You have fun meeting fantastic people, we have such a nice group that the pressure takes second place. You just have to be sure that you will give everything you have to give.
On the goals: “The current goal is to participate in the Olympic Games. If not, it is to return to the club, work 100%, add minutes and play in the Champions League. I try not to think too much about goals and to enjoy every day.”
