Naples, another case to be extinguished and the first reinforcement being defined

These are already very hot days, and not without controversy, in Naples. While waiting for the words of Antonio Conte in the official presentation (announced yesterday for 26 June at Palazzo Reale), the club at this stage must block the assault of various agents and try to unblock the many negotiations set up in recent weeks and which risk to slip also because of the Europeans. The latest case concerns one of the very few players protected by Antonio Conte and who Napoli considers absolutely untransferable, Kvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Kvaratskhelia does not move
After the words of father Kvaratskhelia and the agent, who also inflamed the situation in Georgia’s retreat (despite their desire to “leave him alone), an interview conducted in recent days with the Georgian was published yesterday. Kvara retraces his entire career, starting from childhood, also focusing on the joy of playing in Naples (“the best part of Italy”), and concluding with a passage that is very far from the position of his representative: “I am very, very happy to play for Maradona’s club”, the words of the attacker who after the first contact with Conte seemed likely to renew. Napoli remains with this idea, considering that they have already rejected PSG’s attempt which would have gone up to 100 million of Euro.

First surprise reinforcement
Despite the long negotiation for Buongiorno, the contacts that remain hot with Hermoso, the first arrival in defense could be Rafa Marin, born in 2002 and owned by Real Madrid, fresh from the season spent at Deportivo Alaves. Napoli is currently trying to define the operation, also to get ahead of the competition. A deal worth around 7-8 million euros, but the Spanish club intends not to lose control of the price by reserving a counter-ransom to avoid losing control. The Buongiorno operation remains absolutely alive (further contacts to try to accelerate are expected by the end of this week) while possibly for another arrival it will be necessary to first proceed with several transfers.
