Probable lineups
The first of the three days of these groups continues with the E group today. Belgium is ready to face its third consecutive final phase after the qualifying rounds which saw them dominate throughout the entire journey. The red devils in the lead have the bad result obtained in the last world championship in Qatar – eliminated in the groups – but willing to roll up their sleeves starting from this competition. The city’s Domenico Tedesco team is younger than in recent years, although there is certainly no shortage of veterans to rely on. Like Belgium, Slovakia is also participating in these final stages for the third time in a row; in addition, the journey that has brought the boys led by the Napoli team this far has been impressive to say the least: only two defeats – both against Portugal – compared to seven victories; only one equal. Challenge entrusted to the whistle of the Turkish Meler.
HOW BELGIUM ARRIVES
Belgium arrives at the match with the usual “pressure” (albeit less than in the last decade) of having to get to the bottom of the competition. Excluded from the Courtois squad, Tedesco will rely on Casteels between the posts, a three-man defense including the returning Witsel from groin discomfort and an offensive trident with De Bruyne and Trossard in support of the lone striker, Romelu Lukaku. The squad of red devils does not have any injuries, all full.
HOW SLOVAKIA ARRIVES
Calzona responds with the back four; the module is the same with the di lui of Naples and even the median area, occupied by the usual and essential Lobotka. Other knowledge of Italian football, starting from the defense Skriniar, Hancko and Vavro; in the middle of the field – in addition to the aforementioned Neapolitan playmaker – Duda and Kucka. In attack we remember Haraslin (formerly Parma and Sassuolo), alongside Bozenik and Schranz.
