Juventus, we still have to wait for Rabiot’s renewal: Giuntoli is studying plans B

Adrien Rabiot could go to extra time. Not with his France, which will make its debut in the European Championship this evening against Austria, but with regards to the renewal of his contract with Juventus. A situation that he would have liked to resolve before the start of the continental review and which, instead, is dragging on longer than expected. On the Juventus front there are no signs of impatience nor of ultimatums, with the new coach Thiago Motta who in midfield would gladly focus on his former teammate from his time at PSG.

According to what he reports La Gazzetta dello Sport, the next negotiations on Rabiot’s contract will take place after June 30th, once the European Championship has ended and the deadline (scheduled for June 30th) has already occurred. Juve is proposing two years of 7.5 million plus bonuses with an option for 2027, but mother agent Veronique is waiting for a definitive answer.

Alternatives to French
If Rabiot decides to change scenery and try an experience away from Turin, Juventus will have to hire a replacement. The radars are mainly focused on Ligue 1: from Yossouf Fofana of Monaco a Khephren Thuram of Nice, both with contracts expiring in 2025 and with a fair number of interested teams.

It remains a separate discussion, however, Teun Koopmeiners. Atalanta’s Dutch all-rounder, absent from the European Championship due to injury, is always the first wish of Giuntoli and Thiago Motta. Juventus is waiting to make some transfers – from Soulé to Huijsen – to make an important offer and tempt the Nerazzurri.
