The Dane, who three years ago in his debut match against Finland was the victim of a sudden cardiac arrest that kept the entire sporting world in suspense, has not only returned to the football pitches with his national team, but is he also managed to find the goal immediately after 17 minutes in yesterday afternoon’s draw against Slovenia.
In the other matches, the Netherlands prevailed over Poland despite the initial disadvantage created by the Polish Buksa, managing to overturn the match with Gakpo and Weghorst. On Sunday night, however, it was the usual Bellingham who led an England team that was at times not particularly irresistible against Serbia.
