A debut win in Euro2024 for England. Gareth Southgate’s national team beat Serbia 1-0 thanks to a goal scored by Jude Bellingham in the first half of the match. Three points which propel the Three Lions to the top of group C and bring them closer, in the event of success against Denmark, to progressing to the round of 16. “I am very happy with our performance, as it is always difficult in the first match of an important tournament. The most important thing was the victory and we needed it. So now we have to concentrate, improve and think about the next match. The debut in the competition ?It was great.
