Press conference day, at the Potenza Futura auditorium, for Power, who wanted to present the technical project for the 2024-25 Serie C football season. As we read on the club’s official channels, at the event there was clearly no lack of ownership, which in fact announced the confirmation on the bench of Mr. Pietro De Giorgio, already at the helm of the club in the season just concluded, and presented the new Sports Director Enzo De Vito; there was also no lack of a note at the nursery, with the presence of the new head of the youth sector Giuseppe Lolaico.
But it was CEO Nicola Macchia who announced De Giorgio’s confirmation: “The dream is to play an exciting season from the point of view of results. We must start again from the unfortunate playoff in Foggia, two years ago, and from the compactness and from the enthusiasm of the environment seen during this year’s playouts. Our enthusiasm is renewed through the choice of an important profile like that of DS De Vito and the reconfirmation of coach Pietro De Giorgio. humility, balance and positivity”.
The coach’s words were echoed: “I am very happy with this reconfirmation by virtue of the affection that binds me to the square. Potenza must start again from the good things done at the end of the season and from the great love of an important fan base like the rossoblù one. There will be a change at a tactical level, moving to 4-3-3, which is a formation closer to my technical vision. I will expect a great culture of sacrifice and work from my players.”
