Pasquato: “Juve is a lifestyle, now we need to start again with Thiago Motta”

Interviewed by Tuttojuve.com, Cristian Pasquato he talks about his time at Juventus like this: “I was a Milan fan as a child, but playing at Juventus then changed everything. I lived through Moggi’s times, for me Juve represents a lifestyle. When I didn’t go to school they didn’t let me coaching… so to speak. The experience in Turin shaped me as a boy and therefore as a man. From then on I understood how I should deal with the things of life.”

On working with Ranieri: “A little anecdote. The coach told me to look at the direction chosen for the ball before taking free kicks. In general, I remember the elegance of the man and the professional. I don’t think there is anything else to add when thinking about Ranieri, a coach loved all over the world.”

Two jokes about Juventus today: “We need to start again. The club will plunder players from the market who are functional for the new course. Thiago Motta was already a coach on the pitch, I don’t think his work in Bologna is a coincidence. On paper, Juve starts behind Inter, true, but the paper tears in a second when things start to turn. For me, Motta is already a certainty and not a gamble, as many think.”
