Khvicha Kvaratskhelia further away from Naples. Mamuka Jugeli, agent of the Georgian playmaker for the Azzurri, has officially opened the case linked to his possible farewell, after in recent weeks there had been talk of a closer renewal with Aurelio De Laurentiis’ club.
“We want to leave Naples,” said the prosecutor. Words that were echoed by those of Kvara’s father, also released to the Georgian media Sporti Imedze: “I don’t want him to stay in Naples, three coaches changed last year and it’s difficult to play in a situation like that.”
With these assumptions, it becomes more complicated for the Azzurri to think of keeping Kvara in Naples: the club has long been engaged in negotiations for the renewal of the player’s contract, complicated by the distance between supply and demand. Georgia will make their debut at Euro 2024 on Tuesday 18 June: the Dortmund match against Turkey is scheduled for 6pm.
