Italy, day dedicated to children: doors open after dinner for selfies and autographs

Taking advantage of the half day free granted after the victory against Albania and after this morning’s training, some of the national team players and the entire staff chose to have dinner at Casa Azzurri. Andrea Cambiaso, Federico Chiesa, Michael Folorunsho, Davide Frattesi, Raoul Bellanova and Gianluca Scamacca they reached the Matthias Grothe Halle, the area that hosts national team fans and FIGC partners, obviously attracting the attention of around a hundred fans who waited outside the Azzurri restaurant for a photo or an autograph.

But since the heart of the national team is big, after dinner and before the national team returned to the Iserlohn retreat, the doors of the room were opened to the children. The emotion in their eyes of being able to take a selfie with their idols who, marker in hand, signed shirts, sweatshirts and caps, giving a smile to the little fans and their parents, who, attached to the glass, captured a moment of great sweetness . A girl wearing Chiesa’s shirt entered the restaurant in tears, aware that she was about to experience a unique moment: from the table next to that of the players, the president of the FIGC Gabriele Gravina and the coach Luciano Spalletti observed the scene and wanted call the young fan to hug her.
