Brawl for Xavi Simons: PSG is attacked by four European giants

One of the most sought-after attacking midfielders born in 2003 in this summer transfer window. Let’s talk about Xavi SimonsDutch returning from a stellar season with Leipzig (10 goals and 15 assists in all competitions) but owned by Paris Saint Germain. However, the transalpine club has no intention of depriving itself of the player for more than one reason.

As reported by The Teamthere are four European giants who have directly contacted Al-Khelaifi’s company for a transfer or loan for Xavi Simons, i.e. Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City. No Barcelona therefore, despite – at least according to what the French newspaper reports – having included him in their list of objectives.

The move is up to PSG. However, the Parisian club does not want to sell the 21-year-old for a very specific reason: a large part of the transfer fee will go to PSV if Simons is sold before 2025, then the only possible scenario today would be a departure from Paris only on loan. Yet the French management would like Simons to be integrated into Luis Enrique’s first team. And the player? According to what we read, the boy attended La Masia from the age of 7 to 15 and would really like to join Barça. But every decision is postponed until the end of the European Championships.
