Juve, what’s missing to close Douglas Luiz? McKennie knot: an agreement is needed

Node Weston McKennie to bring Douglas Luiz at the Juventus. The Juventus club is in the final stages of negotiations with Aston Villa for the Brazilian midfielder: the agreements between the clubs are almost finalized, the American midfielder and Samuel Iling Jr. In order to close, however, the approval of the two players leaving Turin is missing.

It shouldn’t be a problem to have that of the English winger, who will ask Aston Villa for guarantees on his employment, after a very tiring season under Massimiliano Allegri. McKennie himself seems more complicated, although solvable.

The theme, he writes Tuttosport, is purely economic, given that the Texan on a technical level will have no problems moving to the Premier League. McKennie, however, would like to find an exit agreement with Juventus, one year from the natural end of the contract expiring in June 2025. It needs to be done quickly, however: Aston Villa, due to issues related to Financial Fair Play, in fact wants to close the deal by June 30th. At the moment, both McKennie and Douglas Luis are both in the United States, busy preparing for the Copa America with their respective national teams.
