Fiorentina, meeting with Bonaventura for the future is expected in the next few days

In the next few days, probably next week, according to Sky Sports Fiorentina will meet Giacomo Bonaventura and his entourage to understand if the conditions exist to move forward together next season despite the contract expiring at the end of June.

Not just Bonaventura, however: for the broadcaster it is possible that the meetings of the managers will also concern Gaetano Castrovilli, another player whose contract is expiring and who returned to the field with good results at the end of the season after a very long double injury. “My goal is to return to wearing the blue shirt. Now I’m well and I’m training on holiday. The important thing is to put aside the bad stops, I did it thanks to my family and my son”, said Castrovilli himself in the last hours answering a question about his future.

The situation is different for the third Viola midfielder whose contract expires, that is Alfred Duncan: Fiorentina itself had the automatic renewal option in its hands for him to be activated by 31 May 2024. The fact that the same Giglia club let the deadline expire suggests a future far from the Tuscan capital for the midfielder. A final decision on the three players will however be made shortly by post, with the new coach Raffaele Palladino who will still have the opportunity to have his say on the matter.
