Chelsea, is made for another Brazilian talent: Pedro Lima will sign until 2029

The white smoke has arrived. As reported As>, Pedro Lima has chosen Chelsea: the young Brazilian right back, who was also targeted by Real Madrid, will be a new player for the Londoners. The negotiation with Sport Recife closed in the last few hours: the Brazilians will receive 7.5 million euros plus three bonuses, while the player will sign a contract until 2029 and will earn 800,000 euros per season.

Pedro Lima will turn 18 on July 1st and this will allow him to make the immediate leap to Europe, even if he won’t play in the Premier League straight away. He should be loaned to Strasbourg, a club owned by Todd Boehly, to adapt to Old Continent football.

Pedro Lima’s possible arrival in the capital would be the fourth in total from Brazil in the last 18 months for Chelsea. In January 2023, Andrey Santos from Vasco da Gama was signed, paid 12.5 million euros, while last summer it was the turn of two Santos players, the left-handed winger Ángelo Gabriel (for 15 million euros) and Deivid Washington, striker paid 16 million euros. Furthermore, an agreement was reached with Palmeiras a month ago for the transfer of Estevao Willian, a 16-year-old attacking winger.
