Betis buys Riad from Barça and sells him to Crystal Palace: gain of over 10 million


Crystal Palace makes the first move of its summer transfer market. The English club has announced that it has signed Chadi Riad DnanouMoroccan defender (but born in Mallorca) who thus leaves Betis Seville after just one season.

A deal for the Andalusian club, which had bought out Riad from Barcelona: raised in La Masia, the 2003-born player moved on loan to Pellegrini’s court and was bought out for three million. The Eagles instead they shelled out 15 to buy it. Three appearances and a goal with the Moroccan national team, Riad has signed a “long-term” contract (until 2029 according to the English press).
