In Iserlohn, a German town a few kilometers from Dortmund and the base of Luciano Spalletti’s national team in Germany for Euro 2024, there was the inauguration of Casa Azzurri, a meeting place for the national team’s fans and a point of reference for the activities of the partner of the FIGC, where concerts, workshops, exhibitions and shows will take place.
These are the words of the coach Luciano Spalletti on the team’s conditions: “If being ready means having a head full of all those things that are needed to do good for the national team, to give a warm thank you given all the good that surrounds us, then we are ready”.
Which was also followed by a short statement from the head of the delegation Gigi Buffon: “The lowest common denominator between 2006 and today is the constant presence, unconditional affection and support of the Italian people who make us feel like we are playing at home every minute. In 2006 we had the feeling of playing at home and even now I’m sure it will be like this.”
