Painless defeat for Saudi Arabia. The national team coached by Roberto Mancini was defeated by Jordan on the last day of the second qualifying phase for the 2026 World Cup. A defeat which, however, does not jeopardize the passage to the third phase but which however does not allow the greens to conquer first place in the group.
Arab lead with Lajami after just a quarter of an hour of play but on the half hour Olwan equalized the score. Before the end of the first half Al Rawabdeh sealed the final 2-1.
