How do you rate your season?
“When you arrive here you know the characteristics you have. I’m a different player for the team, it’s an extra resource that Madrid hasn’t had in recent years and it works well, when you have titles it works well. I’m happy with what I’ve been able to give, I think I was welcomed well by the locker room.”
How was it understood from the outside?
“Madrid has this gift, especially in this competition. The rest of the teams see it with the uncertainty of what could happen. I believe that the 25 of us in the team have worked very well, giving our contribution. In two years I have been on the stands and I’ve always been a Madridista… but until you’re inside you don’t know what’s happening. We started on Monday with 300 people in Valdebebas doing interviews and you realize what this club is.”
How do you manage to turn the situation around?
“We talk to each other, we know that there will be these moments and when these things happen we overcome them.”
