Maignan recovered after dislocating his little finger, Deschamps: “Everything is going well”

Didier Deschamps reassures the fans, especially of France rather than of Milanon the conditions of Mike Maignan. The Rossoneri goalkeeper suffered a dislocation of the little finger of his left hand during training before the end of the Serie A championship. A problem that should not generate particular apprehension, assures the technical commissioner of the French national team.

Interviewed by Telephoto, Deschamps declared: “Everything is going well, there are no particular worries.” A concise comment, but which seems to suggest that for the 1995 class it is really a recent stop, not enough to put his use with the cockerels at risk.

Maignan played 29 games in the last Serie A championship, missing – due to benching and unavailability – the last five matchdays. Thirty-four goals conceded, eleven goals conceded clean sheets. Now he is preparing to defend the posts of his national team. France is included in group D of the 2024 European Championships, scheduled in Germany: they will face Poland, Holland and Austria.
