Spezia, Antonucci is not in D’Angelo’s plans: his return to Cosenza is possible

In home Spice Mirko’s future will need to be defined Antonucci: as reported in today’s edition of The century XIX, there is no feeling or future between the player and the Ligurian club. For this reason the Cosenza, who just returned the player after his temporary sale by the eagles, could request him on loan again. Antonucci, who made 13 appearances in the second half of the season against Cosenza, scoring one goal: Spezia would be willing to say yes to a possible new temporary transfer.

Antonucci would not be part of Mr. D’Angelo’s plans, who would not have appreciated Antonucci’s desire to leave the context in January 2024, in a moment of great difficulty. So next season he could return to where he has shown important numbers.

His career
Born in Rome, in 2013 he was noticed by Bruno Conti who took him into the youth sector of the Giallorossi club. After completing his entire youth career, in 2017 he signed his first professional contract. On 24 January 2018 he made his first team debut as a 74th-minute substitute for Cengiz Ünder in the 1-1 Serie A match against Sampdoria where he provided the assist for Džeko’s goal in the 91st minute. On 2 May he made his Champions League debut in the semi-final against Liverpool, won 4-2. On 19 July 2018 he was loaned to Pescara. At the end of the season in which he made 21 league and cup appearances, he returned to the capital where he was confirmed for the following season. He made his debut in the 2019-20 season during the Roma-Cagliari match, coming on in the 28th minute in place of Amadou Diawara, who came off due to injury. On 30 January 2020, Antonucci moved on a short loan to Vitória Setúbal, with whom he made his debut on the following 24 February, in the championship match against Braga. He scored his first goal with the Portuguese, as well as his first professional goal, on 10 June 2020 against Santa Clara. On 22 June the Portuguese club announced that the loan ended with immediate effect following some videos posted by the player after the team’s defeat in the championship; Antonucci’s Portuguese experience ends with 6 appearances made and a goal scored.
On 5 October 2020, Antonucci was loaned with the right to buy to Salernitana for the entire 2020-2021 season. At the end of the season, he achieved promotion to Serie A with the Campania team, despite making just 3 appearances throughout the season. He then returns to Roma. On 30 July 2021, Antonucci leaves the Capitoline club permanently, moving to the Cittadella. He made his debut with the Venetians on 14 August, during the Italian Cup match won against Monza (2-1), distinguishing himself by making an assist. His first appearance in Serie B with the new club came a week later, during the victorious derby against Lanerossi Vicenza (1-0). On 7 November he scored his first goal with the Venetians, scoring in the home win over Pisa 2-0.
On 1 August 2023 he was purchased outright by Spezia. On 14 August following his official debut he scored in the Italian Cup match against Venezia, won on penalties. On 30 September he broke the deadlock in the league, scoring in the 2-1 win at Feralpisalò.
On 1 February 2024 he went on loan to Cosenza. On 6 April he scored his first goal with the Sila, securing the final 2-2 at home to Feralpisalò again
