The streets of Arnaud Pouille and Lens separate after 7 years full of satisfactions. The French club announced it with a statement published on the official channels. Here is the text:
“At the end of the Board of Directors meeting held today, after the last few weeks marked by differences in strategic vision but with deep mutual respect, Racing Club de Lens and its general director Arnaud Pouille have decided to end their collaboration.
Arriving at Racing Club de Lens in 2017 and protagonist of its reconstruction and development, Arnaud Pouille leaves the club. Under his guidance, the club returned to Ligue 1 before shining on the French scene – four times in the top 7 in Ligue 1 – and returning to continental competitions through two consecutive European qualifiers. Under his guidance, Lens found above all a solid and virtuous internal structure.
The entire Club warmly thanks Arnaud Pouille for his remarkable work in this exciting and energetic era of renewal. A new cycle is now opening at Racing with a new organization whose general lines will be shared in the coming days.”
