In view of June 4th, when the deadline for registration for the next Serie C will expire, Taranto is working on completing the entire documentation with the accounting operations, i.e. the payment of the dues accruing up to April 30th, which are underway and the choice of the alternative stadium to Iacovone which seems to have reached the turning point.
As reported by Puglia newspaper in fact the choice fell on Teofilo Patini of Castel di Sangro who could host the rossoblù team from November until the end of the 2025-26 season given the works that will affect the Taranto facility in view of the Universiade scheduled for 2026. A logistical hitch of It would be of no small importance if this happened with Taranto which, to all intents and purposes, would transform itself into an Abruzzo reality also in terms of marketing and visibility. Not to mention that the distance between the two cities is over 400km which would force the team and fans to travel long distances (over four hours) even for home games.
