The former Juventus player Domenico Marocchinoto the microphones of Radio Bianconera during ‘Cose di Calcio’, he spoke about Juventus and the now imminent arrival of Thiago Motta on the bench:
“I imagine that it would be ideal for him to be able to bring both Calafiori and Zirkzee to Turin, but he will have to compromise with the club’s financial resources. It’s clear that if Thiago Motta asks for Calafiori the club will do everything to please him, but already taking the defender and Zirkzee together seems rather unlikely to me.”
How do you evaluate the choice of technician?
“I like his football ideas. Attacking while keeping an eye on the defense is a right concept, but to defend by attacking you need those who worry about guarding their own half of the pitch even when the team is leaning forward. In current Juve who reflects this player profile, it could easily be Locatelli.”
