Taranto, in case of problems with the ‘Iacovone’ agreement with the municipality of Castel di Sangro

Green light from Municipality of Castel di Sangro to host the Taranto in the next Serie C season. As reported by Antenna Sud, the Apulian club would have received the refusal from various administrations of the neighboring municipalities to host the internal matches in the event of unavailability of the ‘Erasmo Iacovone’ stadium and has therefore turned to the Abruzzo town . With resolution number 60 of 17 May, the municipal council of Castel di Sangro accepted Taranto’s request by granting “exclusively to Taranto FC 1927 Srl the regulation A field with night-time lighting, as well as 2 other fields B/ C on natural grass, all owned by the municipality, with attached changing rooms and warehouse for equipment in such conditions as to allow football matches and training and in general the regular exercise of the game of football, keeping them in such conditions for the entire duration of the use.

To grant exclusive offices for the staff, the coach, his seconds as well as for suitable managers to allow the regular carrying out of their activities. To grant the synthetic pitch with adjoining stands, changing rooms and toilets for spectators, to be shared with local sports associations. To delegate to a specific agreement the regulation of the relationship for the correct use of the facilities granted as well as for the coverage of costs – rent”.
