Sensational in Cameroon. Eto’o apologizes and confirms Brys as Technical Commissioner

The Cameroon “case” is enriched with a new, sensational chapter. In the last few hours, in fact, the president of the Cameroon federation, the former Inter and Barcelona Samuel Eto’ohad had a serious altercation with the CT Marc Brys which had led to the dismissal of the Belgian coach, with the federation having appointed Martin Ndtoungou Mpile as new coach of the Indomitable Lions.

Today was yet another revolution, with Samuel Eto’o appearing at the press conference together with coach Marc Brys, offering his apologies to the Belgian. The president then confirmed Brys on the Cameroon bench.

“I won’t take long, I’ll start by apologizing. During our first unfortunate meeting there were so many emotions. I prefer to say it like this. (…) I’m happy to have spoken to the coach. We have beliefs, we won’t change. We have been working for 2 years to give the best. It was important to stay on course for Cameroon. I apologize for the last time, I ask you to be lenient (addressing Brys). We are a proud people who love victories. We have to give the coach time. Mister, our destinies are linked and you can count me among your supporters. As long as Cameroon wins, the president that I am will have no problems.” Has the end come to this soap opera? We will only find out in the next episodes.
